“We’ve really been gratified by the enthusiasm our patients have for our practice,” Marjorie said. The owner and operator of a skin care center and aesthetic salon in Massachusetts has seen her business grow very rapidly. “But once we started booking appointments three or four weeks out, I thought, ‘This isn’t sustainable. People aren’t going to want to wait that long. We have to grow.'”
The most cost-effective way for Marjorie’s business to grow was by having an addition built on her current facility. But this decision did come with some complications. “While we were able to have the noisiest, dirtiest work done when the shop was closed,” Marjorie explained, “There was just no hiding that there’s an active construction site right there.”
“People are coming to us because they care about their skin. Their complexion.” Marjorie said. “I can’t have our customers worried about sheetrock dust getting into their pores.” To address this issue before it became a concern, Marjorie contacted a post-construction cleaning company in Massachusetts. “My builders were being great, exceptionally careful with everything,” she explained. “But I need the other side of that tarp doorway to be a high end spa experience. They were the best cleaners I’ve ever seen. We had no debris, no dust, no distractions to the customer experience.”
About post-construction cleaning:
Post-construction cleaning is a specialty service provided by janitorial companies. Most often, post construction cleaning crews are hired by the builders, to ensure their work looks its very best at the final walk-through with their clients. However, post-construction cleaning can also be done at anytime during the build, to help maintain the appearance and operation of nearby businesses.
During post-construction cleaning, crews vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wipe down walls, clean, sanitize & disinfect hard surfaces, and more within the desired areas. You can get a 3 minute quote for post construction cleaning services here.
